Not all lines can handle the same pressure. Older clay pipes, PVC, cast iron, and concrete lines have different tolerances. Corroded or brittle pipes need lower pressures. We assess the line condition from the camera inspection and determine the appropriate pressure — typically 1,500–4,000 psi depending on the pipe material and blockage severity. We prioritize safety and long-term pipe integrity over brute force.

With the right pressure and nozzle selected, we connect our hydro jetting equipment to the cleanout and pressurize the line. High-pressure water blasts forward down the line, obliterating obstructions, cutting through tree roots, and scouring interior walls. The water flushes debris backward out the cleanout where we catch and dispose of it. Depending on the blockage severity and line length, jetting takes 30 minutes to a few hours.
